A warm, safe, nurturing in-home child care for children ages 1.5–5,
supporting their growth through play, routines, and close family
partnerships.
We provide a rich bilingual (English and Mandarin)
environment that supports early language development and cultural
appreciation. Welcoming families from all backgrounds.
Families interested in visiting are warmly invited to contact Young to book an appointment.
For safety reasons, we do not accept walk-in or drop-in visits.
Visits offer a chance to see our in-home space, meet the educator, and get a feel for our warm, bilingual environment.
Please note that inquiry or contact alone does not place a child on the waiting list.
To be added to the waiting list, families must have visited the program and met with the educator, completed the registration form, and reviewed and agreed to the Parent Handbook. When a space becomes available, priority is given to children on the waiting list in the order completed registrations are received.

Hi, Dear Families
This is Young.
You’ll usually find me on the floor building blocks, singing songs, or quietly watching children discover the world around them, and that’s exactly where I love to be.
With over 20 years of experience in early childhood education, including 8 years working in group daycare settings here in Canada. I’ve learned that young children don’t need fancy things, they need warmth, safety, and someone who truly sees them. That’s what I offer every child who joins my program.
I hold valid ECE, Infant & Toddler, and Special Needs licenses in BC. I’m committed to continuous learning, because growth never truly stops, no matter how old we are.
Sun & Wave Child Care is my dream in motion, a cozy in-home space for children ages 1.5–5 to play, grow, and just be themselves. I believe in slow, mindful care, following each child’s pace, and celebrating small joys every day.I'm passionate about sharing Chinese culture through language, music, and movement.
When I’m not with children, you’ll find me reading, thinking quietly, or simply enjoying the rhythm of life.
